Wolves old boys not on way back

FORMER players are unlikely to be on Paul Cullen's radar should he attempt to bring in a short-term signing before the end of the season.

Cullen revealed last week that Wolves, who have lost five players to long-term injuries, have looked into the possibility of making a temporary signing if they lose more three-quarters, although no moves are imminent.

That led to speculation that the likes of Brent Grose and Henry Fa'afili - both released at the end of last season for salary cap reasons - could be lured back.

But Grose made a try-scoring return to the Sydney Roosters first team in the NRL at the weekend.

And Fa'afili, who is now plying his trade with French rugby union club Biarritz, is also not on the agenda.

At Tuesday's weekly Press conference, Paul Cullen said: "The cap's the cap and the reason why Henry left in the first place was because he was getting a king's ransom - and good luck to him - playing in French rugby union."

what a pity Henry didnt stop and Rahihi didnt go !
there was a way around keeping henry here just a no hope coach sticking with what he thought was best !
you cannot afford to off load a player like henry when you have players on top money and driftwood
but lets see who the next coach brings in after cullen gets his cumupence hope we get rid before he becomes more farcical and waffles his way back on the sidelines out cull out at least dick turpin wore a mask before he robbed his victims !

I would have loved Brent to come back for a spell. Glad he is proving well down under at last.

Rau is earning his money this season and would you prefer Henry to stayand Hicks not to have come over as that's what would probably have happened if Henry stayed?

has anyone heard the story that cullen was sacked on monday night and is it true??

Must agree with coops, we wouldn't have had chris hicks had henry still been with us. The 1 positive to come from this season is chris hicks but i'm sure that that is more good luck than good judgement on PC's behalf.

Cullen wants to sack his conditioners and get some new ones in. The perennial Dire injury crisis is a joke.

We'd have been better off with L'Oreal Elvive as conditioner, and we might have got a BOGOF offer. Message there for someone - BOGOFF

Is there any news on Mona's jury ? There appears to be very little coming from the Wolves Web Site except for the commercial plugging, even P.C. has nothing to say, not even an excuse. Could the rumour be true P.C. has packed his bags and couldn't be bothered to say goodbye ?

i think our CLUB web site has got to be one of the worsed i have ever been on,its a good job we find out about our team other ways, only plugging for sales like you said G.W...never any news about anything we really want to know about.

So much speculation, so much verbal crap, so much rumour mongering, so much slagging off and all without the slightest bit of foundation.
Give it a bloody rest and get behind the WOLVES for once.
