WATER supplies have been restored to normal in east Warrington following a leak.
Some homes were without water from Friday until Sunday morning although most were unaffected after United Utilities rerouted supplies.
Supplies were restored to normal at 8am on Sunday.
United Utilities' Helen Wilson said: "We'd like to thank all our customers in the East Warrington area for their patience this weekend.
"Our engineers worked around the clock to fix this major water supply pipe as quickly as possible with the minimum of disruption."
